Overview Mail Forwarding Pro gives your callers the ability to Forward their messages to another address or to a list of addresses and to send an Auto Reply to all incoming messages when they are away from the office or on vacation. You, the Administrator, have complete control over the caller options and in addition you have many other options for YOUR use!

Features - Forward incoming messages to either one or a list of recipients.
- Automatically reply to incoming messages. Useful if you are on vacation.

- Optionally log all forwarding to an Accounting file
- Optionally display formatted reports (DETAIL or SUMMARY) using the Accounting file. Reports can be displayed to the screen or to a file.
- Handles hosted domains relative to not allowing callers to forward to themselves!
 
Installation ( 1) Create a directory to hold all files

( 2) Run MFUpro.exe in the directory defined in (1) above

( 3) Move ALL WCX files to the main WINServer directory NOTE: Help files must be in the MAIN MFUpro directory!

( 4) IF you wish to use the HTML interface, then UNZIP htm.zip into the \http\template directory under the main WINServer directory.

( 5) Move the MFUpro.CFG file to the \Data directory under the main WINServer directory. Edit MFUpro.cfg and change the first line to
the FULL path to the MFUpro directory.

( 6) Use the following URL to call the program: http://www.yourdomainname.com/code/html-mfupro
NOTE: (a) If you are running the WINS HTTP server on a port other than 80, you MUST add the port number to the above URL as follows:
http://www.yourdomainname.com:8080/code/html-mfupro
(b) If you use /public/code/html-mfupro the user will be asked to LOGIN to the SYSTEM by the program!

( 7) Create an ANSI menu entry for use by the SYSOP/ADMINISTRATOR ONLY. This is used by the SYSOP/ADMINISTRATOR to configure MFUpro. The menu 'parameter' entry should read as follows:

admin d:\wc5\doors\mfupro  

The first entry, 'admin', cannot be changed. The second entry defines the FULL path to the MFUpro directory.

( 8) Create a menu entry for use by the CALLER. This is used by the CALLER to setup mail forwarding or message auto replying.
user d:\wc5\doors\mfupro
The first entry, 'user', cannot be changed. The second entry defines the FULL path to the MFUpro directory.

( 9) To run MFUpro to actually forward messages or auto reply to messages, you run the following command line:

wcrun -r mfupro forward d:\wc5\doors\mfupro

Everything must be entered as displayed, with the exception of the path information. This is the FULL path to the MFUpro directory on YOUR system.

NOTE: The frequency of execution, which you must determine, can be controlled by using it in conjunction with wcEvent.

(10) Configure MFUpro by running the ADMIN option defined in (7) above.

(11) If you wish to test this out, be sure that you access the CALLER menu entry and add YOUR Forwarding or Auto Reply information.

(12) IF you were running the MFUpro predecessor, MFU v2.0, and wish to convert to MFUpro read the MFUCNVT.TXT file.

Registration Registration and the subsequent insertion of the registration number into your configuration file, allows for the display of your BBS name on the opening and closing screen as well as the reduction of a delay built into the opening screen display along with the ability to change certain values in the configuration file.

Once a door is registered, any changes to registration information (Sysop name or BBS Name) will require the doors to be re-registered at the registration fee in effect at that time.

Be sure to use the proper upper/lower case when filling in your name and BBS name, as they MUST match the way you entered them in the configuration file.
